# Regular Skins Regular skins are in-game customization items, such as character skins or weapons. Each new user will be provided with a limited number of regular skins by default. Rather, they are usable in-game but will not be tradeable or withdrawable. However, through certain mechanisms involving the Metaverse's core `$NWB` token, they can be transformed into NFTs. As NFTs, they are superior items with additional asset properties.
